Nan Khatai - Eggless Indian Cookie - Melt in Mouth Biscuit
2 Cup All Purpose Flour (Maida),
¾ Cup Ghee (Clarified Butter),
1 Cup Powder Sugar (Heaped),
11/2 Tbsp. Semolina (Rawa),
1 tsp Cardamom Powder (Elachi),
Cashew for garnishing.
Take ghee & sugar in a bowl & give a nice whisk till it become smooth & fluffy.
Add semolina & flour & beat it again.
Add cardamom powder & mix well & prepare a soft dough.
Make a small nankhatai & arrange in baking tray. Apply a very small amount of milk & place cashew on it.
Bake nankhatai at 180*C for 30-35 minutes in oven.
After baking allow it for cooling for 30 minutes. Store in air tight container.
