Nana's green enchiladas
1 lb. Hamburger
2 corn tortillas per person
1can cream of mushroom soup
1can of evaporated milk
Hatch green chilies chopped fresh or in can
Brown hamburger in skillet with green chilies
Drain ( I rinse the fat off )
Add hamburger , evsporated milk and cream of mushroom soup to a medium size pot on low heat
Chop tomatoes, onion and Lettuce set aside
Fry very lightly just a few seconds on each side 1 tortilla at a time . Tortilla should be very limp place on paper towel and on to the next tortilla and so forth
Place one tortilla on plate and cover with soup mixture.
Top with shredded cheese
add chopped tomatoes, lettuce, onion
Repeat steps above for next layer .
