NANAIMO BARS SECOND AND THIRD LAYER
- Second Layer:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp. and 2 tsps. cream
- 2 tbsp. vanilla custard powder
- 2 cups icing sugar
- Third Layer:
- 4 squares semi-sweet chocolate (1 oz. each)
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
Cream the butter, cream, custard powder and icing sugar together, beat until it's light and spread over the bottom layer.
Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat and cool.
Once it's cooled but still a liquid, pour over the second layer and chill in the refrigerator.
