- 3 cups quick oatmeal
- 6 Tablespoons cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix oatmeal and cocoa in a large bowl.
- In a saucepan bring the sugar,butter and milk to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
- Add vanilla then pour over oatmeal mixture.
- Drop quickly from tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- Let stand until firm.
- Store tightly covered.
