Why I Love This Recipe
Years ago I found a square single ravioli cutter with a fancy serrated edge. I cut the squares and fold them in half bringing the right bottom and left top corners to the center and holding together with a toothpick. They look nice and are so delicious.
These pastries do freeze well.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb. Cream cheese
1 lb. Margarine
4 cups sifted flour
1/2- cup sugar
1 Tsp. Salt
4-6 cups chopped nuts (I use walnuts)
2 cups sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Approximately 1/2-cup milk (until spread able)
Divide the dough into four sections.
Roll out thin, one roll at a time, on floured surface (like pie dough) cut into small squares. Spread each square with filling and roll up.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350-degrees for 25 minutes until golden.
