Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
4 cups quick (3 1/2 cups rolled) oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup margarine or butter
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups rice krispies
In a large bowl, melt butter in microwave.
Mix in oats, brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Spread mixture in greased 9x13 pan and press down firmly.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter for 1 1/2 minutes on high.
Mix well and stir in rice krispies.
Spread evenly over oat mixture.
Cool and cut.
