1 1/2 c. sifted flour
2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. butter
Combine all ingredients in lrg. mixing bowl. With pastry blender or fingers, cut or rub ingredients together 'til well blended and crumbly. Press firmly and evenly inot greased 15 12"X 10 1/2"X 1 1/2" jelly roll pan. (Lightly flour fingertips if necessary to prevent sticking.)
Bake in slow 300º oven 40-45 min. or 'til deep golden brown. While still hot, cut in 2X1 1/2" bars. Cool in pan on rack.
