Oatmeal and Peanut Butter Dipped in Dove Chocolates
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
3/4 Cup Butter, softened
2 Large Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
2 Cups Oats
1 1/4 Cup Flour
32 Dove Chocolates
Preheat Oven to 375
Whip together butter and peanut butter until blended.
Add sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix together, scraping sides.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Mix in flour, then slowly hand stir in oats.
Roll dough into 2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes or until sides are firm.
Immediate place on cooling rack and place unwrapped chocolates onto cookie. They will become very soft and do not touch until they have had ample time to cool and resolidify.
