- 3/4 cup margarine (room temperature)
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups oats
- In a mixing bowl mix margarine and 1/2 flour and the other ingredients. Beat till thoroughly mixed, then slowly add remaining flour. Stir in oats.
- Drop by teaspoons on an ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes about 48 cookies.
