OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 3/4 cup coarsley chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup quick rolled oats
- 1/2 cup raisins
DIRECTIONS
Pre heat oven to 350
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cloves and allspice. Set aside
Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Fold in flour mixture and buttermilk, alternately
Fold in oats, raisins and pecans
Drop about 2 tbls - 2 inches apart on lightly buttered cookie sheet and flatten
Bake about 10 to 15 minutes or until nicely browned and cooked through.
