On the Go Oatmeal Bars
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup butter/margarine
1/3 cup honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Combine above ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
1 cup raisins or dried fruit of choice
1½ cups Wheaties cereal
1 cup oats, old fashioned or quick cooking
½ cup sliced almonds
Press mixture into a greased 9 inch square baking dish. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Cut into 20 bars. Cover loosely; store at room temperature.
