OOEY GOOEY PUMPKING BUTTER CAKE

 

  • Cooking Time: 40 to 50 min.
  • Servings: 6 to 8
  • Preparation Time: 30 min.

Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 (18 1/4 oz) package yellow cake mix
  • 12 egg
  • 8 T. butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 1 (8 oz. pkg) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 8 T. butter, melted
  • 1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1 t. nutmeg

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • To make cake: combine cake mix, egg and butter with an electric mixer.
  • Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
  • To make filling: In large bowl, beat cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth.
  • Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter and beat together.
  • Add powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well.
  • Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 min. be sure not to over bake, center should be a little gooey.
