3 tbl butter
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 pound turnips
1 1/4 cups orange juice
Peel and cut turnips into small chunks.
Saute green onion in skillet in butter until soft.
Add turnips to skillet and cook until the turnips are beginning to get soft. Stir frequently.
Pour the orange juice over the turnips and simmer on low for 30 minutes. Remove from heat when turnips are tender and juice is a light sauce.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
