Orange basil pasta
1/2 lb tagliatelle
Zest of 1 orange
8 leaves basil, chiseled (I used dried)
2 to 3 tbsp Mascarpone cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
Cook pasta according to package direction.
In the meantime, prepare the sauce: in a bowl, combine the orange zest, basil, Mascarpone and Parmesan.
About a minute before the pasta is done cooking, take about 3 tablespoons of the cooking water and stir in the Mascarpone sauce.
Drain the pasta, mix in the sauce and serve immediately.
