I use a mini crock pot to melt my chocolate chips. It keeps the melted chocolate at the perfect temp for all my candy dipping.


  • 1 pkg. Oreo's - not double stuffed or chocolate
  • 8 oz. pkg. Cream cheese - softened
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/4 block parafin wax


  • Crush 9 Oreo's in food processor, set aside. Crush remaining oreo's, add softened cream cheese and mix well. Roll into bite size balls and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  • Melt chocolate chips and wax in double boiler. Mix well. Dip frozen balls. Place on waxed paper to set up. Sprinkle with reserved oreos. Let set for about 20 minutes.
  • Keep refrigerated.
