Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe came from an Aunt in Pennsylvania who served it during the summer with grilled burgers. When I serve it my family tends to actually ask for seconds of the salad over anything else.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 c. rice noodles
1/4 c. sliced or slivered almonds-toasted
2 T. poppy seeds
6-7 slices of bacon-cooked and crumbled
4 green scallions-diced
1 head of lettuce (Romaine is great too)
1 tsp. Accent
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 T. vinegar
1/4 c. canola oil
Mix salad ingredients together and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Combine all dressing ingredients and mix well.
Add to salad right before serving.
