ORIGINAL HUMMUS

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned chick peas, drained
  • 2/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • parsley for garnish
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Directions

  • Put chick peas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, garlic salt and cumin in food processor. Mix until smooth.
  • The hummus can be thinned out by adding a bit of oil or liquid from the can of chick peas.
  • Refrigerate.
  • sprinkle chopped parsley on top
