Oven Baked Macaroni & Cheese
2 C. elbow macaroni (you can even use whole wheat pasta or 1 part whole wheat, one part regular pasta in this recipe)
1/4 C. butter
1/4 C. flour
1/4 twp dry mustard
1/4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 C. milk
2 C. shredded/cubed cheddar cheese
Cook & drain macaroni.
Melt butter in pan.
Stir in flour, mustard, Worcestershire, salt, & pepper.
Cook over low heat until smooth and bubbly.
Stir in milk & heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil & stir one minute. Stir in cheese & cook until melted.
Gently stir in macaroni.
Pour into casserole dish & top w/ Parmesan and breadcrumbs.
Bake @ 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.
