OVER NIGHT THICK FRENCH TOAST

Over Night Thick French Toast

I don't remember where I found this base recipe, but I like to do it with 2 sliced stuffed with creamcheese ...not that it makes it better for you, but its YUMMY!

 


INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 45 minutes
  • Servings: 8-12
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
  • 8 Large Eggs
  • 1 Loaf of Hearty French Bread
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 4 Tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

Slice bread 1" thick


Mix eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla in large bowl. Butter 13" x9" pan


Arrange Bread in pan


Fill in all the open spots, so cut smaller pieces if you need to


Pour egg mixture over bread


Cover and refriderate over night


Preheat oven at 350 in the morning


Cut 2 tbsp butter in small pieces and scatter on top of bread


lightly sprinkle with cinnamon


Bake 45 minutes
