PEANUT BUTTER CHIFFON LAYER CAKE
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/14 cup milk
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Grease and flour two 8 inch round cake pans.
Beat egg whites on medium speed until foamy.
Beat in granulated sugar on high speed, one TBSP at a time until stiff and glossy.
In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Add brown sugar, peanut butter, oil and half of the milk. Beat on low speed one minute.
Add remaining milk and yolks. Beat on high one minute.
Fold in meringue. Pour in pans.
Bake approx 30 minutes or until done.
