Ingredients

  • 1 C. CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
  • 1C. CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER
  • 1 STICK BUTTER
  • 6 C.RICE CRISPIES CEREAL
  • 1 LB POWDERED SUGAR
  • 1 PKG CHOC. CHIPS

Directions

  • 1) MELT BUTTER; IN A LARGE BOWL MIX ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR THE CHOC. CHIPS.
  • 2) MIX WELL UNTIL POWDERED SUGAR IS NO LONGER VISIBLE, FORM IN TO SMALL LOGS.
  • 3) MELT CHOC. CHIPS, THEN SPREAD CHOC, OVER TOP OF LOGS AND THEN REFRIGERATE TO LET COOL AND LET CHOC. HARDEN.

MY MOTHER IN LAW GOT THIS RECIPE IN A NEWS PAPER IN PEORIA, ILLINOIS IN THE 70s. SHE STARTED MAKING THEM FOR MY HUSBAND AND NOW SHE SHOWED ME THE RECIPE AND HOW SHE MADE THEM AND NOW I MAKE THEM FOR MY HUSBAND AND THE KIDS AND WITH HIM DEPLOYED IN AFGHANISTAN I SENDTHEM TO HIM....THEY ARE HIS FAVORITE
