PERSIMMON PUDDING FROM THE MILKING PARLOR FARM

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Put through colander: persimmons, enough for about 2 cups pulp.
  • Beat in rest of ingred.
  • Bake pudding in greased 9x9 baking dish until firm, about 1 hour.
