- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 sm. onion, sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dried parsley
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 - 6 oz. cans button mushrooms
- Combine all ingredients except mushrooms in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add the mushrooms.
- Simmer for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Store in a covered container in the fridge.
- Drain and serve.
NotesIn the days when I was more ambitious, not that these are hard to do, I used to make these to put out to nibble on when we had friends over.
