  • 2 lean pork chops or fillets, sliced to ½ inch
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for frying


  • • Melt b utter in skillet. Sauté pork slices until browned,
  • about 10 minutes. Move pork slices aside (unless draining
  • excess grease is needed) and sauté onion and mushrooms.
  • Mix sour cream with onions and mushrooms, adding sage
  • and seasonings. Spoon cream mixture over pork slices
  • and heat on low heat. Do not boil. Allow sauce to reduce
  • and thicken slightly. Serve immediately
