Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

1/4 pound angel hair pasta
1/2 pound large shrimp
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 tablespoon peanut oil
3 medium garlic cloves, crushed
2 cups fresh bean sprouts, divided
1 tablespoon unsalted peanuts, chopped
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 scallions, sliced
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro


Directions

Bring large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta; cook minutes and drain. Shell and wash shriimp. Cut into small piece, about 1 inch. Mix sugar, ketchup, ginger and lime juice. Heat oil in wok. Add garlic and cook until golden, about 30 seconds. Add shrimp and toss for 30 seconds. Add noodles, sauce and 1 1/2 cup bean sprouts. Stir fry 1-2 minutes, tossing ingredients to mix thoroughly. Spoon into serving dish. Sprinkle with bean sprouts, peanuts, crushed red pepper, scallions and cilantro.
