PANCAKE/YORKSHIRE PUDDING MIXTURE

Ingredients

  • 4 oz plain flour
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 large egg
  • OR
  • 2 medium eggs
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  • 1. Place flour in a large bowl
  • 2. Create a dip in the centre (like a volcano)
  • 3. Place egg in the dip
  • 4. Carefully whisk egg and flour together from the centre
  • 5. Add in salt and milk and whisk together
  • 6. Leave to stand for at least 1 hour
  • 7. Depending on which you are using the mixture for, cooking will vary

Notes

This is my nana's mixture to create perfect pancakes or Yorkshire puddings.
