Serves 4 | Prep Time | Cook Time

Ingredients

1/2-pound favorite deli meats(I use several differant ones like ham,salomi,pepperoni)
1/2-pound sliced favorite cheeses( provalone,Havarti,Munster,American)
Lettuce-shredded
Tomatoe-thinly sliced
Bell Pepper-thinly sliced
Onion-thinly sliced
Pickles
Olives-(I use Black sliced)
Peppercinni-peppers
Mayo,Mustard
Bottled SubSandwich dressing(wal-mart deli)
4-Pita bread-(unsliced)
1-Tinfoiled wraped-red cinder brick(small)


1).Take a pita bread and insert blade of very sharp knife into edge of bread careful to not make holes in the center of ether side of bread, wiggle blade back and forth as you cut along edge of bread untill bread seperates.(bread is hallow so this is easier than it sounds).


2).Place heavy skillet on stove at a low heat.


3). Start layering your meat and cheeses on one side of the bread, place top on bread and lay in hot skillet, take a clean tinfoil wraped Brick(yes I said brick) or smaller heavy pan on top of pita (if you have a panini maker use it instead of the brick),heat till cheese starts to melt(couple of min), flip pita to heat other side. Remove from pan take off top of pita to add rest of ingrediants of your choice, top with sub-dressing, salt&pepper to taste.


Cut into quarters.


This should make 4 paninis.
