PAPER WRAPPED CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • marinade
  • 1T white wine
  • 1T soy sauce
  • 1T sugar
  • 1T corn starch
  • 1T oil
  • 1t ginger, minced
  • 1t pepper
  • 1t garlic salt

Directions

  • Slice chicken breast into ¼” pieces
  • Combine all marinade ingredients in ziplock bag and add chicken pieces.
  • Marinate at least 3-4 hours, or overnight
  • Cut foil into 4” squares
  • Place about a teaspoonful of chicken in center of foil and fold over into triangle, then fold over on each open side to seal
  • Deep fry 2-3 minutes, serve hot

Notes

My mom used to make these and they are still some of my favorites. We rarely get them anymore, just because they are SO much work, and I never order them at dim sum restaurants because I only like chicken breast, and they just don't make them that way. So when you have a lot of time and feel like doing something tedious - give these a try, you'll like them!
