Why I Love This Recipe

I learned this peanut butter and jelly sandwich technique when I was a kid, and I used to make them for myself as a snack all the time. It's not complicated at all, but it seemed "fancy" to me back then.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 slice bread
peanut butter to taste
jelly to taste
a rolling pin
a table knife

Directions

Roll the rolling pin on the slice of bread with firm pressure. This will make it flat and slightly larger. Then, spread peanut butter and jelly on one side of the flattened bread. Roll up the bread tightly from one end into a long tube. The peanut butter and jelly should help hold it together. Place the "tube" seam side down and cut round pinwheel pieces off like you would if you were making cinnamon rolls.
