PECAN PRALINE CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs white meat chicken tenderloins
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • cayenne
  • garlic
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup dark caro syrup
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  • prepare sauce:
  • melt butter , brown sugar, and caro syrup in a saucepan
  • cook on a low boil until mixture reaches a soft ball stage
  • slice chicken tenderloins into medallions season with listed seasonings and dust with flour.
  • dip in egg and mill mixture, then dip into season flour mixture again.
  • fry in oil until golden brown
  • plate chicken, pour praline sauce over fried chicken and dust with chopped pecans
