1 3oz pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 Tbs. soft butter
3/4c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup chopped pecans
Let cream cheese and butter soften to room temp. Blend.
Stir in flour.
Chill slightly 1/2 hour. Shape into one inch balls and place in 1 3/4 inch ungreased muffin cups.
Press dough to bottom and side of cups.
Beat together butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, salt and pecans.
Put this mixture into the cups, 1tsp in each. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until filling is set.
Cool and serve.
They freeze well also!
