PEG CURRIE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE

 

  • Cooking Time: 30 minutes
  • Servings: 12
  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 T butter or margarine, room temperature
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and 1/3 c flour
  • 1 and 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 t soda
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 6 oz chocolate chips (1/2 of a bag)
  • 2T coarse (or regular) sugar

Directions

  • Cream butter (or margarine) and sugar
  • Beat in eggs one at a time
  • Stir dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture
  • Stir in sour cream
  • Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan
  • Scatter chips over top
  • Sprinkle with sugar
  • Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
