Pepperoni Rolls

Ingredients

4 1/2 cups flour
1 tbl. sugar
1 tbl. salt
1 cup warm water
2 tsp. active dry yeast
2 large eggs
4 tbl. butter
1 large stick of pepperoni


Mix together first seven ingredients to form dough. Knead dough until it is elastic. Cover and let rest one hour. After an hour, divide dough into ten balls. Surround one stick of pepperoni with dough to make oval shaped roll. Let raise one hour before baking at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Martha, are you from West Virginia? Because we Mountaineers just LOVE our Pepperoni Rolls! When I'm in a hurry, I just use frozen bread dough. Take a bunch of these to the High School and they'll disappear before you get to the end of the hall! LOL!
