Why I Love This Recipe

This cheesecake is perfect for any fall get together. The scent of fresh apples and cinnamon while baking is almost as good as it tastes. I made it and everyone raved!!


Ingredients You'll Need

1 c. graham craker crumbs
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
Melt butter and mix in with all ingredients until well blended. Press into 9 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
2(8oz) cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 t. vanilla
4 c. apples( i used green), peeled, cored, sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. pecans
1/4 c. toffe chips(optional)
Caramel ice cream topping(optional)


Directions

Combine cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar.


Beat well, add eggs one at a time. beat in vanilla until smooth.


Pour into crust.


Stir 1/3 c. sugar, cinnamon and apples together, toss until coated.


Spoon apples over cream cheese mixture.


Sprinkle with chopped pecans and toffee chips.


Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes.


Loosen cake from pan, cool, remove pan, and chill until serving time.


Drizzle caramel over each slice or whole pie if desired.
