PETJIL NANAS - SWEET PINAPPLE RELISH - INDONESIA
- 1 whole pineapple, cut in wedges or 1 14 ounce can pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 hot red pepper, diagonally sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons gula djawa (palm sugar)
Heat oil in a skillet and fry onion and red pepper for 2 minutes. Add all other ingredients and cook for 10 minutes.
