Why I Love This Recipe

My co-worker Phil she makes this pie. This is so good. I recommend only using full milk cheese. Her mother use to make this pie. She is as italian as they come. Thanks for sharing Phil!


Ingredients You'll Need

•Makes 5 pies:
•9 eggs
•6 lbs. whole milk ricotta cheese
•2½ cups sugar
•3 tablespoons flour
•1 teaspoon vanilla
•1 teaspoon lemon juice
•1 teaspoon orange juice
•(Pre-made pie crusts)
•Makes 3 pies (3-8” or 2-9”)
•5 eggs
•3 lbs. whole milk ricotta cheese
•1¼ cup sugar
•1½ tablespoon flour
•1 teaspoon vanilla
•1 teaspoon lemon juice
•1 teaspoon orange juice


Directions

1.Beat eggs in bowl; add vanilla, lemon, orange juice. Add sugar. Add to ricotta, add flour and mix well. Pour into pie crusts


2.Bake at 325 for 1-1 ½ hours


3.This recipe really makes 4 full pies and 1 half pie, take some from the 4 pies to make a complete 5th.


4.Optional: you can add some chocolate chunks or chips to pie. I don't do this but I know some have.
