Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

3 tb corn oil
2 Medium Potato, cubed
2 lb Lean ground beef
1 ea Onion minced
1 ea Garlic clove minced
1 can Tomato sauce
1/2 c Pimento-stuffed Olives
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 ts Oregano
1/2 ts Thyme
Salt & pepper to taste


Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add beef & saute until lightly browned, stirring to break up any lumps. Add onion & garlic and saute for 5 mins. longer. Add all remaining ingredients. Mix well & simmer, uncovered, over moderate heat for about 20 mins.


Serve this over white rice.
