PICNIC PASTA SALAD

Ingredients

  • One 16oz. box of whole wheat spiral pasta
  • small can sliced black olives
  • 1/2 package of pepperoni
  • about 10-15 slices of dry salami
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 15oz. can chick peas
  • 1 15 oz. can quartered artichoke hearts(not marinated)
  • 1/2-1 cup shredded parmesean cheese
  • 1 8oz. jar roasted bell peppers(drained and sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 the bottle or a little more of Kens Steakhouse Northern italian salad dressing
  • 6 chopped frsh basil leaves
  • pinch of salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cook the pasta as directed on the box, drain. In a large bowl add all ingredients mix, cover and refrigerate until chilled about 2 hours!
