Picnic Salad

Ingredients

1 cup salad macaroni
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 frankfurters, thinly sliced
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
1 medium sized cucumber, diced
3/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced sweet pickle
1/4 cup pimiento, cut in strips
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise


Cook macaroni until tender in boiling salted water. Drain. Blend warm macaroni with oil, vinegar, salt and black pepper. Toss lightly. Allow to cool thoroughly.



Combine frankfurters, olives, cucumbers, celery, pickle, pimiento and onions. Mix and add to macaroni mixture. Blend in mayonnaise. Chill thoroughly in refrigerator. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
