Pico De Gallo
2 Roma Tomatoes, seeded and diced
½ Red Onion, diced
1 Jalapeno, seeded and diced
1 Green Onion, light and dark green parts, sliced
Juice / Zest 1 Lime
Zest of ½ 1 Lemon
½ Tsp. Seal Salt
Layer all vegetables one by one in a small mixing bowl. Tomatoes, Onion, Jalapeno, and Green Onion. Zest your lemon and lime and squeeze the lime juice over the bowl. Sprinkle the sea salt over the entire bowl and toss everything together to combine.
*** It is delicious right away but I love to give it time to chill. It’s so refreshing against a warm and gooey burrito or some spiced tortilla chips warmed in the oven.
Pairs Well With
A really simple, fresh, and delicious salsa that compliments a variety of dishes. It's easy to control the heat by adding / omitting jalapeno.
