Pine Nut Shorbread

Ingredients

1/4 cup pine nuts
1 stick butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 cup flour


Spread pine nuts on baking sheet and toast at 350 degrees until a shade darker-watch carefully as they can burn easily. Melt butter then add sugar, rosemary and pine nuts. Mix in flour. Spread into an 8 inch square pan and bake at 350 until golden brown and firm at edges for about 20 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes then cut into 16 squares. Let cool then remove and eat.



Interesting note: Mara doesn't cook or bake!
