Why I Love This Recipe

(A Frances Brett Specialty)

Frances first tasted this dish at a LeadAR seminar in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

It's quick and easy to make and is a great go-to dish when you need to bring something because nearly everyone likes it.

The Atlanta Bretts make this recipe every Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ingredients You'll Need

2/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Flour
2 20-Ounce Cans of Pineapple Chunks, Drained (reserve 1/3 cup juice)
2 Cups Shredded Medium Cheddar Cheese
1 Stick Butter, Melted
1 Cup Ritz Crackers, Crushed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine sugar and flour.

Stir in 1/3 cup reserved pineapple juice.

Add cheese and pineapple chunks, mix well.

Spoon mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Combine butter and cracker crumbs.

Sprinkle over pineapple mixture.

Bake for about 30 minutes.

Best served warm, but okay cold.
