Pineapple Chocolate Cake
3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
8 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup crushed, drained pineapple
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
Beat in eggs.
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cocoa powder.
Add gradually to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly.
Stir in nuts and pineapple.
Pour into a greased 8 x 10-inch pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until center tests done.
Cool and cut into large squares.
