- 1/4 cup brown sugar.
- 1/4 cup oleo.
- Pineapple slices.
- Cherries and nuts.
- 1 1/4 cup flour.
- 3/4 cup milk.
- 1/2 tsp. salt.
- 1/4 cup Shortening.
- 1 tsp. vanilla.
- 2 tsp. baking powder.
- 1 cup sugar.
- 1 egg.
DIRECTIONS
Melt butter and add to cake pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
Arrange pineapple slices/syrup and place cherries and in center of pineapples.
sprinkle nuts over top.
In separate bowl sift flower, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Add shortening and milk.
Beat for 1 minute.
Add vanilla and egg.
Beat until smooth.
Spoon batter over pineapple slices.
Bake at 350.
