- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c sherry
- 1/2 c soy sauce
- 1/2 c catsup
- 1 can 8oz crushed pineapple
- 1 T roasted garlic
- 1 t salt
- combine all ingredients and cook for about 30 minutes, covered in saucepan.
- Use this sauce to bake chicken or spareribs directly in it, I usually put in casserole dish covered for 30 mins at 350 degrees, then uncovered for another 30 minutes.
NotesA great overall cooking sauce, it is also really good with chicken. My great aunt Alice came up with this one, and I have not changed it much.
