- 1/2 C hoison sauce
- 1/2 C black bean sauce
- 1/4 C tamari
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger root
- 1 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- 3 Tbls minced garlic
- 2 Tbls brown sugar
- 1 Tbls dry sherry
- 2 Tbls tomato paste
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp red food coloring
- Mix all ingredients.
- Use as a marinade or BBQ sauce.
NotesI made Polynesian BBQ'd Ribs for football one time and they came out great!! This sauce tastes just like the BBQ ribs from the Chinese restaurant!
