PORKBLADE STEAKS DINNER

  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Pork blade steaks (4)
  • 2 tablespoon shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 pepper
  • 1 can of condensed beef broth
  • 1 med onions sliced
  • 2-3 med potatoes peeled and quarter
  • 2-4 carrots quartered
  • 1teapoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • parsley

Directions

  • In skittle brown pork blade steaks in shortening
  • pour of dripping
  • season salt and pepper, reserve 1/4 cup broth
  • add broth to skillet
  • add onion, potato carrots
  • add basil
  • over and simmer for 45- 60 minutes until tender vegetables
  • remove meat and vegetables(keep warm)
  • add water to pan juice to make I cup.
  • add to skillet cover until thickend and bubbles
  • serve over meat and veg

Notes

This is a one dish meal. My mother in law passed it down to me. A good fall go to meal.
