POST-WORKOUT SHAKE WITH RICE MILK AND BANANA

Ingredients

  • 1 cup enriched rice milk,
  • 1 tablespoon rice protein,
  • 1 banana, some salt.

Directions

  • Mix ingredients together.
  • About 220 cals, 38g. carbs, 8 g. protein, 3 g fat. And one happy, recovered, allergy free swimmer.

Notes

So, my nutrition has really been difficult to figure out, as I have so many food allergies and sensitivities and I also LOVE to swim, a lot. I read that having something like chocolate milk after a good swim is perfect for recovery: 4:1 carbohydrates to protein. Only problem? I have a milk allergy. So I bought Carob Soymilk. Nope, awful rash after drinking it. No soy. Oy.

I think I figured it out, for now.
