Potato Ham Soup

Ingredients

2 cups Ham, cubed
1 cup Bacon, in pieces
2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cups water
1/2 cup Chopped onion
1 cup Celery
1/2 t. Pepper
1 t. Salt
10 T. Flour
3 cups Milk
4 T. Butter, melted
1/2 cup Chicken broth

shredded cheese - Optional


Combine potatoes, onion, bacon, celery, pepper, and salt in large pot. Cook until desired tenderness. In seperate bowl, mix flour and 1 cup milk, blend well.


Add flour/milk mixture, butter, chicken broth, ham, bacon, and remaining milk to your potato mixture.


Simmer on med. heat for about 20 min. or until heated thru and thickened. Cooling soup will help thicken.


Optional: Top with shredded cheese.
