These are the best basic latkes I have tried after many experiments
Ingredients You'll Need
3 large potatoes
1/5 yellow onion
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
Dash black pepper
1 tbsp matzoh meal
Directions
Use regular cuisinart blade to cut up the onion and set it aside
Use the shredder cuisinart blade to cut up the peeled potatoes
Strain both and mix together with eggs, matzoh meal, salt, pepper
Fry em up! Until brown
Can make up to 4 hours ahead of time – heat up right before serving at 375 for 5 min per side
Can freeze and then heat up in 375 degree oven for 8 min or so
